Robertson Tattoo Company
Large-Scale Black and Grey Tattooing
Veteran Owned — Warrior Culture — Meaningful Work
Tattooing for Those Who Have Earned Their Story
Damian Robertson is a Canadian veteran and professional tattoo artist specializing in large-scale black
and grey tattoos built around military culture, resilience, and personal history.
For more than twenty years he has worked with veterans, first responders, and collectors from around
the world to create tattoos that carry weight, meaning, and permanence.
This is not walk-in tattooing.
This is intentional work built through consultation, discipline, and commitment to the craft.
What to Expect
Large-scale custom black and grey tattooing.
Structured five-hour sessions designed for precision, focus, and sustainability.
Projects developed through consultation and thoughtful design.
Work intended for collectors committed to meaningful tattoos and the process behind them.
Session Rate
$1500 CAD per session.
Each session is a focused five-hour block of work.
This structure allows for maximum concentration, high technical precision, and long-term sustainability
as an artist.
Most large-scale tattoos require multiple sessions depending on size and complexity.
Who This Work Is For
Damian primarily works with veterans, active military members, first responders, and collectors seeking
large-scale black and grey tattoos.Common themes include warrior imagery, military symbolism, memorial pieces, protective spirits and
mythological guardians, and personal stories of resilience and endurance.
Small filler tattoos and quick walk-in work are generally not accepted. The focus is on meaningful,
intentional projects.
Consultation First
All projects begin with a consultation.
When submitting a consultation request include your idea, the placement and approximate size of the
tattoo, reference images if available, and the story or meaning behind the piece.
Consultations help determine the concept direction, the scale of the project, and the number of
sessions required. Projects are selected based on artistic fit, scale, and overall direction.
Closing Statement
Never Pass a Fault.
If you see something wrong, correct it. If you know the standard, uphold it. If the work matters, do it
properly.
That principle guided my time in service and it guides my work as an artist.
Standards are non-negotiable.
